طلب انضمام دولة فلسطين إلى الأمم المتحدة قالت الأمم المتحدة اليوم الجمعة إنه سيتم التعامل مع طلب انضمام دولة فلسطين إلى الأمم المتحدة "بسرعة"، و إحالته إلى مجلس الأمن الدولي. و بعد اجتماع بين الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس و الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بان كي مون، قال المتحدث باسم الأمم المتحدة مارتن نسيركي "ستتم مراجعة الإجراءات المطلوبة بسرعة في الأمانة العامة، و سترفع بعد ذلك إلى رئيس مجلس الأمن و رئيس الجمعية العامة". جاء ذلك بعد أن قدم الرئيس الفلسطيني محمود عباس إلى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بان كي مون طلب انضمام دولة فلسطين إلى المم المتحدة. و قدم عباس الطلب لبان في مكتبه بالأمم المتحدة في ظرف مغلق يحمل شعار دولة فلسطين. و قام الأمين العام للمنظمة الدولية بفتح المغلف لإلقاء نظرة سريعة على الطلب. تسويق الدولة و في الخطاب – الذي أعقب ذلك في الجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة – قال عباس "تقدمت بصفتي رئيسا لدولة فلسطين و رئيس اللجنة التنفيذية لمنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية إلى سعادة بان كي مون السكرتير العام للأمم المتحدة بطلب انضمام فلسطين – على حدود الرابع من يونيو/ح
